Meridian Ms KOA

We're staying tonight at a KOA near Meridian Ms after a 450 mile day. Pretty uneventful ride today--hit Atlanta around noon and no problem with traffic, same with Birmingham.. Billie and I met up with Casey and Lisa at the welcome center just across the Alabama state line and traveled together the rest of the afternoon. The Freers and Graves were about 45 minutes behind us. If Wishbone ever recommends a KOA near Meridian, DON"T believe him! Actually besides the scrap yard, the mud, and the 4 wheelers across the street, it's not so bad. The Freers and Jordans have traveled together a few times--this is our first time traveling with Lisa & Casey and Claude & Elaine, and we are enjoying our time together this evening. We're full from a nice spaghetti dinner, and Bibi is sharing "local" liquid refreshment! We should always buy local, right??
