Going To The West--June 10, 2015

The Freers (Ron, Austin, and Bibi), Graves (Claude and Elaine), Siglers (Casey and Lisa), and Jordans(Russ and Billie) are getting our ducks in a row for our trip west which begins July 17. Through the winter we have all gathered in person and through facetime to make camping reservations beginning in Tennessee, and at other stops in Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Kansas. While at Yellowstone we will be joined by family and friends:


-daughter Sarah and significant other Austin, and grandkids Ian and Adeline
This group will be flying out. Gonna be a treat to share seeing Yellowstone with them.


-Bob and Amy Buckingham
Bob and Amy are traveling separately (that way there is less chance of me and Bob providing extra curricular entertainment!) and visiting friends in Iowa. Looking forward to them joining us for a few days and playing some tunes.


-Gerald Anderson
Gerald is a longtime friend and Billie's mentor in guitar building. Gerald will spend a couple of days with us before visiting friends who have recently moved to Jackson Hole.


In addition to Yellowstone, we are looking forward to spending time in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Cody Wy, Three Forks Mt (hopefully including a float on the Missouri River), and the Montana Old Time Fiddlers Picnic.


Everyone traveling in our group plays music except for Wishbone (Ron), so we do plenty of picking n' singing in the evenings. Wishbone makes up for his lack of musical skills with his great talents on the grill and his storytelling. Traveling and camping with friends is a great way to see the country---stay tuned and we will keep you posted!.......PBR
